And a  Dragon’s Den Pitch- to a panel of industry judges with the winner receiving an award for the most innovative technology on the Isle Water Innovation Zone @ Wednesday 18th May  12.00 – 12.45 where Richard Willis will pitch the HUBER CarbonWin® Solution

Driven by continuously rising energy costs and technical innovations in the field of sludge digestion and digester gas utilisation, anaerobic sludge treatment is gaining an importance even for smaller sewage treatment plants designed for fewer than 50,000 PE.

HUBER CarbonWin Solution

The HUBER CarbonWin® system consists of a mechanical treatment stage typically with a 6 mm screen and a grit trap. The HUBER Drum Screen LIQUID is installed downstream of the grit trap instead of the primary settling tanks and can easily be integrated into existing systems. The screen is installed in either a channel or tank and the wastewater flows through the screen drum from inside to outside. The Drum Screen Liquid is typically combined with the HUBER S-DISC Sludge Thickener to generate 5 – 6 % sludge for digestion and this combination delivers the CarbonWin solution from HUBER.

The HUBER range of products includes;

  • Solids and screenings removal, fine screens, coarse screens and micro screens
  • Washing, conveying and compacting of solids and screenings
  • Sludge screening, thickening, dewatering and drying
  • Grit removal and treatment
  • Anaerobic digestion, pre and post digestion treatment
  • Industrial wastewater treatment
  • After Sales & Service
  • Hire Equipment
