Northumbrian Water are the latest in a growing list of companies, which includes Northern Ireland Water, Scottish Water, Thames Water, Welsh Water, and Yorkshire Water, who have all entered into formal agreements with HUBER to maintain their equipment.
“It’s now 5 years since HUBER developed its network of regional depots to provide local expertise and a fast response to support our equipment” explained HUBER’s Operations Manager, Kevin Ockwell. “We are increasingly seeing customers choosing to work with the OEM, rather than using a general mechanical contractor, to ensure these vital assets are maintained by the equipment manufacturer using genuine parts and expertise to improve reliability, optimise performance and reduce the risk of failure. In addition customers are seeing genuine cost benefits in working directly with HUBER”.
The recent extension of HUBER’s service activities in the UK coincides with the expansion of Huber Technology’s factory in Germany and the development of a dedicated fabrication and storage area for spare parts. This provides customers with a fast turnaround and fully traceable, cost competitive solution.
