Another successful Sludge Screening installation

HUBER successfully completed a screening installation at Brancote STW for Severn Trent Water where we worked closely with NMCN. HUBER supplied 3 x HUBER STRAINPRESS® 290 and 3 x HUBER control panels.

The 3 x STRAINPRESS® sludge screens and HUBER control panels have been mechanically & electrically pre-assembled at our workshop in Chippenham and then installed onsite on a triple gantry 4.5m high from the ground. The gantry has been sized so that a roll on/off skip can fit underneath the gantry for screenings discharge and then an option for a flexible chute to skip.

After successful FAT & electrical testing in our workshop, installation was completed on site at a greatly reduced time scale and we are pleased to announce that commissioning of the units has been completed.
