As part of the HUBER / Welsh Water STRAINPRESS® & Imports Screen agreement, HUBER supplied and installed 2 x HUBER Sludgecleaner STRAINPRESS® to Cog Moor STW sitting on 10M high gantries supplied by a 3^rd party. In January 2019, HUBER completed the successful commissioning & installation of the 2 x HUBER Sludgecleaner STRAINPRESS® SP290.

Project Profile

Welsh Water’s AD Plant upgrade for several sites in North and South Wales including Cog Moor .The projects consisted of supply of 22 x HUBER STRAINPRESS® and 10 x HUBER Sludge Acceptance Plant ROTAMAT® Ro3 Sludge import screens.

Welsh Water decided on a course and fine screen arrangement to suit their sludge strategy.

The projects also required bespoke platforms for some sites - 2.5m, 3.5m to 10m high single and double platforms.
