HUBER TECHNOLOGY actively undertakes to discharge its responsibility for the care of the environment through the simultaneous working of its business strategy with environmental issues and to comply with the relevant environmental legislation and Codes of Practice.
HUBER TECHNOLOGY endeavours to minimize the risk to the public from its operations and reduce the impact of its activities on the environment to the lowest practicable minimum, by identifying its responsibilities through a positive policy of safety in the workplace, control of pollution and care of the local environment. Any potential pollution will either be arrested or effectively controlled.
HUBER TECHNOLOGY encourages staff to act with due consideration for the environment and also requires contractors to meet the same standards of care as the Company itself.
All HUBER TECHNOLOGY machines and products are manufactured in Berching, Bavaria, Germany where all environmental regulations are very strictly adhered to. Machines arriving at our premises in Chippenham undergo final assembly to meet UK requirements. Thus HUBER TECHNOLOGY’s impact on the environment is minimal. Nevertheless the Company is aware of its environmental obligations and makes every effort to conserve resources, minimize emissions and waste production, dispose of responsibly as necessary and recycle, (to the benefit of local charities), where possible.
HUBER TECHNOLOGY’s products are principally used for the enhancement or protection of the environment. HUBER TECHNOLOGY is therefore well versed in the potential impact that such products will have on the environment whilst in use. Products and best workshop practices are reviewed and modified as appropriate according to the specific requirements of each project.
Owing to the nature of HUBER TECHNOLOGY’s products, ie. solids/liquid separation within a waste treatment environment, a waste product is normally discharged from the machine. Whilst HUBER TECHNOLOGY endeavours to ensure that this waste product is of the highest quality, often suitable for recycling or utilisation, it is the user’s responsibility to dispose of the waste product in an environmentally responsible fashion. If in doubt, we will be pleased to offer guidance on this matter.
