The Grit Washing Plant RoSF4/t is fed with polluted material by means of the feed hopper mounted on the side. By supplying the lower part of the machine with flow water (service water) a fluidized grit bed is produced which enables the separation of the organic substances. This density separation of the grit/organic mixture is supported by a rotating rake working at low speed. The clean grit is conveyed by a grit conveying screw and discharged into a container after being dewatered. The organic components remain in the container until they rise and leave the plant together with the supplied water.
