The Sludge Acceptance Plant is used for mechanical treatment of faecal sludges. For this treatment a ROTAMAT® Fine Screen / ROTAMAT® Micro Strainer is installed in a container. A robust and efficient variant, with which throughput capacities up to 100 m3/h can be reached without problems.
The entire treatment process takes place in an encased and smell-tight system. In addition, screenings are washed, press liquor is returned into the wastewater flow. The washed screenings are clean and suitable for dumping sites. The press liquor with its high BOD load is passed into the STP for further treatment.
This plant has proved its worth in practice and is in this version the most popular machine in Germany. A laborious construction in combination with sophisticated mechanical engineering are prerequisites for continuous operationday for day, year for year. |

| Main part of this sludge acceptance plant is the proven ROTAMAT® Fine Screen. It excels in a high throughput capacity, low hydraulic resistance. Furtheron there is the integrated screenings press with all its advantages. This ROTAMAT® Fine Screen is very robust, with operational reliability, which ensures trouble-free process despite grit and stones. This machine is completely made of stainless steel and with its tines reaching through the basket it can be completely cleaned (you can gather further information about this screen from our Fine Screen Ro1). |

This plant offers a complete separation consisting of:
- Fine Screen
- Integrated Screenings Press
- Grit Trap laid out according to ATV regulations
- Grit Classifier
All functions are integrated in one tank for a compact design. The plant is smell-tight. Faecal sludge is completely treated.
The washed, dewatered and compacted screenings are coming out of the integrated screenings press. The grit which is discharged by means of a grit classifier in nearly dry condition is dropped into a container.
