On 15 November 2002, the Hans Huber AG received the "Bayerische Umweltmedaille", a medal of merit awarded for the great contribution made to the federal state's development and protection of the environment. The medal was handed over to Hans G. Huber and 23 other companies and persons by the environment minister Dr. Werner Schnappauf, who pointed out in his speech that this is the top award the State of Bavaria donates for eco-friendly management !
