Directly after the high pressure unit of the ROTAMAT® Wash Press Ro4, the washed and compacted screenings are delivered into the mixing and conveying screw, where the slaked lime is added. The lime conveying screw doses the lime into the mixing screw in an impulse/pause mode. The mixing and conveying screw breaks up the compacted screenings and mixes them intensively with lime prior to delivering the mixture directly into the container.
