The ROTAMATŪ transporting screw is used when screenings and other waste materials from the treatment of manufacturing processes have to be conveyed horizontally.
The waste material is transported in a totally enclosed pipe, this reduces odours and reaction with the surrounding atmosphere, therefore the transportation is nuisance free and environmentally friendly.
The ROTAMATŪ transporting screws are designed to suit the waste being moved, and are normally available in 6m lengths, but longer or indeed shorter constructions are available on request.
The ROTAMATŪ transporting screw can also be fitted with trace heating for frost protection down to -25°C if outdoor installations require it.
HUBER-ROTAMATŪ transporting screws are entirely manufactured from stainless steel following acid treatment and passivation.
