  Dear Reader

Steve Morris, Managing Director
Welcome to our latest newsletter and an update on some of the things that have been happening at HUBER.

This is a special year for HUBER as we celebrate our 150th anniversary. The company has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a copper smithy in Germany to a leading global water and wastewater treatment business today, and you can read more about this journey and what lies ahead.

Like many others, we have really enjoyed participating in the recent live events which have taken place since the lifting of Covid restrictions. The return of the IFAT exhibition in Germany, after 4 years, was a great success as were the UK events including the Water Equipment Show, Utility Week Live and the Water Industry Awards. It was great to reconnect with many of you at these events. Attendance was high, suggesting that there’s a real appetite for face to face contact again.

In this edition we are pleased to present a selection of case studies on recently completed sludge thickening projects using our HUBER S-DRUM and DrainBelt technologies.

We were delighted to be finalists in this year’s Water Industry Awards in the category of Health and Safety Initiative of the Year - and to be able to showcase our innovative Safe Access Solutions, which have been developed in the UK with Mott Macdonald and Yorkshire Water.

We hope you enjoy reading about these and other stories, and wish you a safe and enjoyable summer.

Best Wishes
Steve Morris, Managing Director
