Dear Reader
Welcome to our latest Newsletter, and a round-up of some of
what’s been happening at HUBER over the last few months.
We have had a very busy start to the year, with lots of activity, for
both new capital equipment, as well as aftersales service- where we are
providing spares, service and preventative maintenance to customers in
many areas. We have strengthened our regional teams in recognition of
the growing importance of this service.
As well as some large projects for our inlet screens and mechanical
pretreatment, we are continuing to see a growing requirement for our
sludge products, and we have introduced HUBER’s innovative thickening
and dewatering solutions to several new customers this year.
We were delighted to have been nominated as finalist in this year’s
Water Industry Awards, in the category of Alliancing and Partnership
Initiative of the Year. This centred on our work with Wessex Water
helping to successfully deliver a Capital Maintenance programme of 34
inlet screen replacements across the region and exceeding aggressive
efficiency targets.
Our Industrial Business is also very active. We recently exhibited at
the UK AD Biogas Expo in Birmingham, where our Industrial Business
Development Manager, James Tucker, presented a paper on grit removal
from anaerobic digestion plants - a challenge which many operators face
and one which HUBER has a range of solutions. In September we’re
exhibiting at the RWM recycling and water & energy waste management
event, and hope to see some of you there.
We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and as always look forward to your feedback.
If you’d like to know more about any of these stories then please do get in contact.
Best Wishes
Steve Morris, Managing Director
